The official host of the 2009 CSSA Convention is the Tucson Cactus and Succulent Society. We will be celebrating our 50th anniversary as an organization in 2009 and for our Golden anniversary we have a special present for all our guests at the convention. The TCSS is the largest affiliate of the CSSA with over 1000 members and growing. We not only have an almost ideal growing environment for many cacti but have a living laboratory because we live in one of the most beautiful deserts on earth... The Sonoran. Come to Tucson and learn more about this incredible environment and it's plants. The TCSS is involved in a number of activities including, Conservation, Cactus Rescuing and Education.
